"We have had the opportunity to use the Bit of Grace Sensory Kit on a few occasions, but one interaction stands out. A young autistic child became overwhelmed and distressed at the tubing hill. To help, we laid the sensory toys out on the snow, letting them choose what they needed. The sensory caterpillar was the clear winner. As soon as they held it and started flipping it back and forth, they calmed right down, much to the relief of their parents, who were incredibly grateful. What made this moment even more special was that English was their second language, yet the comfort provided by the sensory kit spoke louder than words. It was a powerful reminder of how impactful these tools can be. Truly a cool and heartwarming experience!"

“We recently had an interaction with an 11-year-old autistic individual. They were unresponsive to verbal communication, but immediately responded when I brought out the kit and asked if they wanted to play with some toys. They were very receptive and talkative and cooperated the rest of the time. They knew all of the toys and what they did. Great experience for all!"

"I just wanted to let you and Owen know I used the bag tonight, not all of the stuff in it just a few things for a non-verbal patient and I think it really made a difference to him so thank you! I used the picture chart, oral stimuli, and the plush toy and we bonded. I felt like it was a very positive experience for both of us!"
